Privacy policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Viajob Inc ("ViaJob Shop", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit shop.viajob.com (the "Site"), create an account, place an order, join our rewards program, write a review or otherwise interact with us (together, the "Services").

The short version: we collect the information we need to sell and deliver work essentials to you, run your account, rewards points and reviews, and improve our store. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account information. Your email address, which you use to sign in, and the profile details you choose to add: first and last name, birthday, shopping preferences and a profile photo.
  • Addresses and contact details. Shipping addresses and phone numbers you save to your address book (up to five) or enter at checkout.
  • Order information. The products you buy, prices, discount codes, the shipping option you choose, and order history.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed at checkout by Shopify and its payment partners (including Shopify Payments, Shop Pay and Apple Pay). We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Returns. The items you want to return, the reason you select and any note you add.
  • Reviews and community content. Star ratings, review text, tags, photos and videos, replies to reviews, "helpful" votes and reports you submit.
  • Messages to us. Anything you send when you contact customer support.

Information collected automatically

  • Shopping and browsing activity. The search terms you enter, the search results and products you click, the filters and sorting you apply, the products you view and the product options you select, the items you add to or remove from your cart (including items that could not be added), the discount codes you enter, when you start checkout, the pages you visit, how long each page stays open on your screen and how far you scroll, together with the page address, the referring page and campaign parameters in the link you followed (such as utm_source).
  • Device information. Device type, operating system, browser, screen width, the language you use on the Site, and how quickly pages load and respond on your device.
  • Technical and security data. Your IP address and request logs, which our hosting provider processes to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.
  • Cookies and browser storage. See section 6.

Information from other sources

  • Shopify, which runs our checkout and customer accounts, provides us with your customer ID, order, payment status, fulfillment, refund and cancellation information.
  • Payment providers confirm whether a payment succeeded. They do not give us your full card details.

2. How we use your information

  • To process your orders, handle returns and refunds, and send order and delivery updates.
  • To create and maintain your account, address book and profile.
  • To run our rewards program: awarding and redeeming points and determining your membership tier.
  • To collect, check and publish product reviews, and to invite you to review items after they are delivered.
  • To show you notifications on the Site, for example when someone replies to your review.
  • To provide customer support.
  • To improve our search results, product range and Site, and to produce statistics about how our store is used. For example, searches that return no results tell us which products we should add.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse of promotions or rewards, spam reviews and security incidents.
  • To send marketing emails or text messages, only if you choose to receive them (for example by checking the box at checkout). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the message.
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Rewards program

If you have an account, we keep a record of every points transaction, including the order or activity it relates to, your current balance and your membership tier. We use this record to operate the program, to answer questions about your balance and to prevent abuse. When you redeem points, we create a single-use discount code for your order.

4. Product reviews

  • Reviews can only be written for products you have bought, and are checked by our team before they are published.
  • Published reviews, including photos and videos, can be seen by anyone who visits the Site.
  • A published review shows your display name and profile photo. Your display name is the name in your profile, or "User" followed by four digits if you have not added one. If you choose to post anonymously, your name is shortened (for example, "J***n") and your profile photo is not shown.
  • A review may also show the product option you bought, and a note if the order was later refunded.
  • We do not remove or hide reviews because they are negative. We may remove reviews that break our content rules, such as reviews containing advertising, abuse or other people's personal information.
  • Please do not include your address, phone number or other personal details in a review, reply or photo.

5. How we share your information

We share personal information only as described below.

  • Service providers that process information on our behalf and under our instructions:
    • Shopify, our e-commerce platform, which runs checkout, payments, customer accounts, orders and our product catalog. Shopify's handling of your information is also described in the Shopify Privacy Policy.
    • Cloudflare, which hosts the Site and stores our rewards, review, photo, video and site activity data.
    • 17TRACK, a package tracking service. When your order ships we send it the tracking number and the carrier name so that we can show the delivery events on your order page. We do not send it your name, address, email or order contents.
  • Payment providers such as Shopify Payments, Shop Pay and Apple Pay, to process your payment. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to the information you give them.
  • Delivery. Any carrier we use receives the name, address, phone number and order details needed to deliver your order.
  • The public. Published reviews and replies, as described in section 4.
  • Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, or necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of ViaJob Shop, our customers or others.
  • Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged or reorganized, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction and will remain subject to this policy.
  • With your consent, or at your direction.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not currently use advertising pixels or send your activity to advertising platforms. If this changes, we will update this policy before it happens and provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" option. The "Marketing & third parties" category in our cookie settings (section 6) is off by default and does not contain anything today.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use first-party cookies and browser storage that are needed for the Site to work or that help us understand how it is used. None of them are set by advertising networks. They fall into three categories, which you can choose from in our cookie settings:

  • Necessary (always on): sign-in, your cart, language, checkout and remembering your cookie choices.
  • Analytics (on by default): the visitor ID and session ID below, and the shopping and browsing activity described in section 1, which we use only for our own statistics.
  • Marketing & third parties (off by default): advertising or third-party tools. We do not use any today.

When you first visit, a notice at the bottom of the page lets you accept all, keep only necessary cookies, or choose in the settings. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you turn analytics off, we stop recording your activity, delete the visitor ID cookie and clear the related browser storage. The cookies and storage we use are:

  • viajob_aid (visitor ID cookie, 1 year; analytics). A random identifier that lets us recognize the same browser across visits, so that search and browsing activity can be counted per visitor.
  • Session ID (browser session storage, renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity; analytics). Groups the activity that happens within one visit.
  • viajob_consent (cookie, 1 year; necessary). Remembers your cookie choices and when you made them.
  • viajob_session (cookie, 30 days). Keeps you signed in.
  • viajob_pkce and viajob_reauth (cookies, a few minutes). Protect the sign-in process.
  • NEXT_LOCALE (cookie, 1 year). Remembers the language you chose.
  • viajob-cart (browser local storage). Remembers your shopping cart and any discount code waiting to be applied.
  • Recent searches (browser local storage). Shows your last five searches in the search box. You can clear them at any time.

When you sign in, we link the visitor ID to your account, so that activity from before you signed in is associated with your account. When you place an order, the visitor ID and the search that led you to each product are recorded with the order, so that we can measure which searches lead to purchases.

Checkout pages are provided by Shopify and may use Shopify's own cookies, which are described in Shopify's policies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the visitor ID, the Site will still work, but your activity will not be counted per visitor. If you block the sign-in cookies, you will not be able to sign in. Our Site does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and you have not made a choice in our cookie settings, we treat analytics and marketing as off for that browser; because we do not sell or share personal information, we also treat the signal as a request that we never do so.

7. How long we keep information

  • Account and profile information: while your account is active, and deleted or anonymized when you ask us to delete it.
  • Orders: as long as required for tax, accounting and warranty purposes.
  • Rewards records: while the program operates, so that balances can be verified.
  • Reviews: until you ask us to delete them or we remove them under our content rules.
  • Shopping and browsing activity: we do not currently apply a fixed deletion period to these records, because comparing activity over time is how we judge whether our search and product range are improving. You can ask us to delete your records at any time (see section 9).

8. How we protect information

We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), sign-in cookies that cannot be read by page scripts, access controls for our staff, and automated and manual review of uploaded content. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Whichever state you live in, you can:

  • Update your name, birthday, preferences, profile photo and addresses on the Account pages of the Site.
  • Post reviews anonymously, and ask us to delete a review.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing messages.
  • Turn analytics cookies off, or back on, at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
  • Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.

When we delete your information, we delete your shopping and browsing activity and the link between your visitor ID and your account, and we anonymize your reviews and delete your rewards records. The text and rating of an anonymized review may remain on the Site without any link to you. Some information may be kept where the law requires it, for example order records needed for tax purposes.

Additional rights for residents of certain U.S. states

Depending on where you live (for example California, Texas, Colorado, Virginia or Connecticut), you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and access a copy of it in a portable format;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete personal information;
  • opt out of the sale of personal information, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects (we do not do any of these);
  • limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you); and
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

How to make a request. Email us at viajob.system@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account, or tell us that you do not have an account. We will verify your request by confirming that you control that email address, and may ask for order details. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask the agent for proof of your permission and ask you to verify your identity directly. We will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why, and may take up to 45 more days where the law allows.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision and explaining why. We will respond to your appeal within the time required by the law of your state. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact your state attorney general.
